TALLAHASSEE, FL – Advanced Driving Systems, Inc. (ADS) today announced they are partnering with the Florida Disabled Outdoors Association (FDOA) to sponsor the association’s annual SportsAbility event on April 9-11, 2015. The SportsAbility programs help people with disabilities enjoy recreation and active leisure events while celebrating their capabilities. Advanced Driving Systems offers a variety of mobility services to disabled individuals and their parents or caregivers.
“Our company and our staff are passionate about giving disabled individuals the freedom of mobility, which is why we wholeheartedly support events like SportsAbility, ” said Scott Poore, owner of Advanced Driving Systems. “Mobility and recreation should not be sacrifices a disabled person or their families have to make.”
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the SportsAbility program, which gives people with disabilities first-hand access to archery, SCUBA, climbing walls, water skiing, kayaking, horseback riding and much more at no cost, thanks to sponsors like Advanced Driving Systems. The event is also open to families and friends of disabled individuals.
In addition to recreational activities, SportsAbility also provides a hands-on learning opportunity for resource providers and community organizations, as well as people with disabilities and their parents and caregivers, showcasing the latest in trends, equipment and resources.
As a sponsor, Advanced Driving Systems will participate in the Indoor Day, the Expo, the Banquet and the Outdoor Day and invites anyone interested to visit the event and learn more about the ADS mobility services available. From scooter repairs to full custom van conversions, Advanced Driving Systems is a one-stop independence mobility center offering competitive prices and complete customer satisfaction.
