Advanced Driving Systems will be supporting the local event for the MDA Muscle Walk of Tallahassee Sept. 17 in Tallahassee, Fla. The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) will host the event taking place at the Southwood Town Center, and donations will be accepted on their website (https://www.mda.org/) to help fund urgently-needed research, treatments and support for muscular dystrophy.
Advanced Driving Systems formed a team to participate in the community walk to show support for individuals in the area with special needs. Donations raised by the MDA will go toward finding research breakthroughs across diseases. Money raised by Advanced Driving Systems and all other donors will also be used to care for kids and adults and to empower families across America with much-needed services and support. Participants and teams are welcome to fundraise and walk in the event.
MDA Muscle Walk of Tallahassee is a life-changing event designed to strengthen families and communities by bringing everyone together for a memorable and meaningful day. Muscular dystrophy is a group of diseases that cause progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass over time. Muscular weakness is the most common sign of the disease, but specific signs and symptoms can show at different ages in different muscle groups.
