Tallahassee, Fl.—Advance Driving Systems is proud to announce its participation in this year’s “Forget Me Not” Walk and Festival on Sunday, November 2nd at the Tom Brown Park Pavilion. The event runs from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. The fundraiser, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Project, Inc., is designed to create awareness for Alzheimer’s, as well as inform the public of all of the free services offered by the not for profit.Make sure you stop by and say hello to Scott while at the event. He will have one of our mobility vans onsite, ready for you to test out some of the latest innovations available for drivers with disabilities.
Since 1976, the Poore family has worked hard to service this community, to give back and find mobility solutions for individuals living with a disability; so, when the Alzheimer’s Project approached ADS about partnering up for this event, owner Scott Poore was more than happy to lend his support.
“This is a group trying to educate the local community and enhance the lives of Tallahassee residents,” Poore said. “My team at Advanced Driving Systems is also trying to accomplish this same goal each and every day. We were glad to join forces with them. The partnership seemed like a no-brainer, to me.”
In addition to a memory walk through Tom Brown Park, this one-day event is sure to offer your entire family an afternoon of fun. After the walk, there will be food, music and activities, such as a cake walk, silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. There will even be face painting and a bounce house for the kids.
